Legalize documents from countries in which Bolivia has no Embassy nor Consulate

Legalization Procedure of Documents that Originate from Other Countries in Which Bolivia has No Embassy nor Consulate,  And to Which no Embassy of Bolivia is concurrent

 

Country of origin (country where the document is issued or originates from)

 Third country (country that has an Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin, and also has an Embassy or Consulate of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the third country’s territory). This third country can be India as the legalization procedure of India matches the one stated in this procedure. For other countries to act as a third country such as Perú, Argentina, or Brazil, please check with their respective Embassies or Consulates.

1.     The document in the country of origin must have a Spanish translation 

 

2.     Both the Original version or notarized copy of the Original version, and the Spanish version must be notarized into 1 set of documents or separately. 

 

 

3.     The document both the Original version or notarized copy of the Original version, and the Spanish version must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin. 

 

4.     The document both the Original version or notarized copy of the Original version, and the Spanish version must be legalized by the Embassy or Consulate of the third country in the country of origin. [The Embassy or Consulate of the third country in the country of origin would legalize the legalization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin.]

 

 

5.     The document both the Original version or notarized copy of the Original version and the Spanish version must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the third country. [the MOFA of the third country would legalize the legalization of the Embassy or Consulate of the third country that is in the country of origin]

 

6.     The document both the Original version or notarized copy of the Original version, and then Spanish version must be legalized by the Embassy or Consulate of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the third country.        [The Embassy or Consulate of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the third country would legalize the legalization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the third country]

 

 

 

7.     The document both the Original version or notarized copy of the Original version, and then Spanish version must be legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in Bolivia.        [The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia would legalize the legalization of the Embassy or Consulate of the Plurinational State of Bolivia)
